Jai Mata Di
K Rajan was born and raised in Ambala, a famous district of Haryana, India. He comes from a middle-class Hindu family. His father, late Shri Gopal Krishan, was a professional singer. Since childhood, he has been interested in singing and assisted his father in the studio playing the keyboard. His passion for music led his parents to decide to train him professionally. He was taught Indian classical music by Dr. Anil Datta Ji. At the age of sixteen, Rajan participated in a reality show "Voice of Punjab," where his singing talent was recognized throughout Punjab. In 2006, he was awarded "Ambala Idol." After his father's death when Rajan was only eighteen years old and had to cater to family needs, he had to sacrifice his academic education. He decided to continue his father's tradition by performing and singing devotional songs at Jagrans.
His first track, "Tere Naal," a Romantic Punjabi song, was released in December 2018 produced by Label Jass Records which brought many opportunities for him(https://youtu.be/yYxAk18cDMU). He also started performing live shows. His second devotional song "Duniya Di Moh Maya" was released in September 2019 produced by Label Ambey Bhakti (https://youtu.be/G8pRHrGntHo). In March 2020, another devotional song titled "Aas Muradha" was released on his YouTube channel (https://youtu.be/SWVJuInCMBI). Recently, in May 2020, a new Sufi song went on air on his own YouTube channel receiving lots of love and appreciation titled "Sajda" (https://youtu.be/N64ZpUu0fT).
